Access Urgent Care was founded in 2021 by two local providers, Robert D. Bernauer, Jr., M.D., and Samantha Marceaux, N.P., who believed that increasing insurance premiums, long wait times, and overbooked family clinics were preventing patients in Southwest Louisiana from receiving the best urgent medical care right when it was needed.
With over 20 years combined experience in emergency medicine, Bernauer and Marceaux have constructed a team of healthcare providers who share
three core values: quality, dependability, and accessibility.

Southeast Lake Charles is growing, but until now, the medical community has not grown with it. Located between McNeese and Morganfield, our services are easily accessible to those in Lake Charles, Bell City, Holmwood, Iowa, Grand Lake, and more.
